Norwood Uniform

Dealerships provide branded clothing to employees relevant to their position. National Support Office employees can also apply to their Manager for Norwood branded clothing so you can look the part at events, meetings and in front of our external stakeholders.

Nib Health Insurance

As a valued employee of Norwood we are pleased to provide you with fully subsidised health cover with nib for permanent employees working 20 hours or more per week, with the option to add your family members to your policy at discounted rates.

40 days Sick Leave

Norwood offers employees significantly more than the legal minimum by giving you the opportunity to accumulate up to 40 days Sick Leave (10 days per annum) in case you need an extended period off due to serious ill health or surgery.

Toolkit Purchase Support for Apprentices

When you are an Apprentice with Norwood, we will support you to build your Toolkit by providing you with access to a tool account of up to $5,000. Repayments must be at least $50 per week until the debt is repaid.

Tool Accounts for Service Technicians

If your role at Norwood is as a Service Technician, Norwood will establish a Tool Account of up to $2,000 to be used for the specific purpose of purchasing tools of the trade. Repayments must be at least $100 per week.

EAP (Employee Assistance Programme)

Paid time off - Donating Plasma and Blood

 We support you doing your bit for others and will pay you while you are donating blood or plasma.

Social Clubs

Norwood operates social clubs in most locations. If there is one in your location, you will be invited to join when you start  employment with the company. When you start at Norwood you can find out more about Social Club activities from your Manager. You can also join at any other time of course!

Staff Purchasing

Norwood employees are offered the opportunity to purchase parts and selected accessory stocked products from  Norwood for their own personal use at a significantly reduced cost from retail price. You can talk with your Manager about this to find out more.

Retail Discounts

Through Norwood, you can receive a 20% discount at Max stores and a 30% discount at Barkers stores. Score! There are also some other big box retailers who offer Norwood employees special buying privileges. Ask your Manager for more details.

At Norwood, we understand that our success is driven by our people. While we sell and service some of the world's most reliable farm and constriction machinery and technology, it's our expert staff who make the biggest difference to our customers and their operations.

We value our employees' broad range of skills and expertise and are committed to providing the tools to help them realize their full potential. Our purpose-built National Training Centre in Palmerston North was opened in 2021 to facilitate technical and product training. Our team of Technical & Product Specialists continually develop in house training on our products using our diagnostics equipment and technical strategies.

We are committed to developing our employees, it’s a vital part of our success and strategy. Your career progression with Norwood can include moving within a department at dealership level, relocating to another dealership within the dealership retail network, and moving from the dealer retail network to the national support office based in Palmerston North.
