Vredo DZ5 Stitch Compact

Situations and moments occur every season when the recovery capacity of the turf is minimal, or the soil is too loose and sandy to sow with the double disc principle. At these times, the market demands improved sowing techniques without cutting the sward, while maintaining the Vredo quality and grass emergence.

The Stitch Compact from Vredo offers the solution. Two 'stitch rollers’, with a sharp flat tooth, create interrupted incisions that enclose the dosed seeds. An even seeding pattern is created by making 1,600 small incisions per m2. Inserting and enclosing the grass seed in this way ensures optimal germination and growth, making this machine the best string roller seed drill on the market.

Features & Benefits

Thanks to the Stitch, maintenance of sports fields and golf courses can be performed before end of the competition season. The grass is maintained in excellent condition so users of the fields and courses can continue to enjoy playing. The turf can quickly be restored to an excellent condition even during or just after the winter break of, for example, the football competition season.

  • Minimal impact on lawns
  • Overseeding early in spring
